Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan

Lal Bahadur Shastri gave India the slogan Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan and it is perhaps one of the most relevant slogans of all times. Now with agricultural labor dwindling and even stigmatized it is time to remember this slogan. We need to give the same respect to the farmers who till the land as we do to the men who defend the land.
